Denis "Snake" Bélanger (born 1960[1]) is the vocalist of the Canadian heavy metal band Voivod.
He co-founded the group in 1982, and appeared on the albums War & Pain, Rrröööaaarrr, Killing Technology, Dimension Hatröss, Nothingface, Angel Rat and The Outer Limits. He departed the group in 1994, but returned in 2002, and appeared on the albums, Voivod (2003), Katorz (2006) and Infini (2009).
He formed his own band, Union Made, during his time away from Voivod, and worked on the song "Dictatosaurus" with Dave Grohl's side project dubbed Probot. And now he's working on a new project, Paranoland.[2]
